checkbox-ng software package provides PlainBox based test runner, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install checkbox-ng
checkbox-ng is installed in your system.
Make ensure the checkbox-ng package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep checkbox-ng *
You will get with checkbox-ng package name, version, architecture and description in a table
